Northern Baja California

FOCAL SPECIES: Western Pond Turtle (Actinemys pallida)

The mountains of northern Baja California support relictual populations of the Western Pond Turtle, a riparian species found north to Big Sur. Together with Conservación de Fauna del Noroeste, ATO monitors populations of Western Pond Turtle.
